About Us

The Adelaide Retro Computing Group is a retro computer and console focused group with monthly meetings where fellow retro computer enthusiasts can bring along their favourite retro systems and discuss all things retro computing with other like-minded retro computer enthusiasts!



Any retro computer you are passionate about is fine to bring along - Vintage PC, Apple, Amiga 500/1000/600/1200/2000/3000/4000/CDTV, AmigaOS4/MorphOS/AROS NG Amiga systems, Atari ST/TT/Falcon, Acorn Archimedes, Sinclair ZX81/Spectrum, Amstrad CPC6128, Commodore 64, Vic 20, Commodore 65, MSX, BBC Model B, Fujitsu FM Towns, SGI Indy/Octane, Philips CD-i, Altair 8800, or whatever your favourite retro system may be! We want to see it!



Even retro consoles like Sega Megadrive/MegaCD, PC Engine, NES, SNES, 3DO, Amiga CD32, Atari 2600/7800, Intellivision, Vectrex, Virtual Boy, Neo Geo, Atari Jaguar and Sega Master System. Portable retro systems like Gameboy, Atari Lynx, Game and Watch, Merlin, Wonderswan, Sega Game Gear and similar are also welcome to bring along!

Modern re-interpretations of classic retro systems and consoles are also very welcome - things like Minimig, Emulation Station, MIST, Chameleon64, Firebee, iCade, MAME systems, Intellivision/Atari Flashback too. We have even had a Raspberry Pi system displayed in Commodore 64 cases running C64 emulation!!

We also do presentations from time to time covering an interesting variety of retro computer topics, and if you are interested in presenting a topic about your favourite retro system for us all to enjoy please let us know via the contact page.



We also maintain a Facebook page to keep up to date with the latest news from our group, extra pictures from the meetings in addition to what is on this website, upcoming meeting discussions with other regular attendees, answering user queries, helping with problems and more!
