We are kicking the start of 2016 off with a new initiative: an Amiga and Retro Computing event!
The next meeting is coming soon, on Monday 25th January, 2016, starting at 7:30pm.
Two presentations will take place during the evening.
Introducing AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition - Epsilon
Epsilon will present this topic, discussing the features and functionality of this new operating system including where to obtain hardware, forum web-resources and software.
MITS Altair 8800 + Original Microsoft BASIC Demonstration
Theo Karagiris, a software developer based in South Australia, is one of the few owners of an original 1974 Altair 8800 system. He will bring this rare system along to the event to demonstrate its operation. This will will include a demo of the original Microsoft BASIC: first software program ever written by Microsoft.
There is a small cover charge of $3 to attend the event to cover the costs of room hire and other expenses for the event.
More information about the meeting is available on the Next Meeting section of this very website!
We hope to see many of you there - should be a great night!
